Good morning everybody. It is quite a warm day but overcast however I think a bit too humid.
I have been working on my camper installing some plastic pipe to hold the TV aerial. It actually replaces an older smaller version.
Apart from that nothing planned. Might buy a lottery ticket and pay my “Bad at Maths” tax.

Another Friday already! Its a bit grey and damp outside here in the south coast of Hampshire.
Not a great deal on offering here. Mrs G is off to her chiropractor for a neck massage and I’m here fixing the remote for the central heating, which she was kind enough to drop for me and damage the circuit board. Time to break out the multimeter and soldering iron.
Yesterday, I just paid out for our travel insurance, at a cost of an eye-watering four digits, thanks to my wife’s health issues. Seriously unhappy about this, but we have no option other than cancel everything. But this will impact any future holiday plans going forward. Maybe we will have to stick to the UK for trips.
Anyways, today I’ve decided to visit our local garden nursery and have a cream tea before doing much else. Besides, I need a serious coffee to help me cope with the sudden hole in my savings.

Shopping this morning; firstly at the Community Shop in the town centre, so I’ll also get a Mini Statement
Then back home and I’ll drive to Sainsbury or LIDL for anything else I need
Nothing much planned for this afternoon but I’ll probably carry on with repairing the fireside bellows
Good morning - A grey day but day but warm for the time of year. Our daughter is staying until the 17th and a big help with the current difficulties. As she leaves, our son arrives. Neither live in this country but there are other family members who do, so not short of attention. Not sure how the day will pan out.

Garden was full of leaves, so just done he first clearing of them. Dull and looks like rain later in trhe day
Hello everyone! Late to the party but got roped into clearing leaves too (during my lunch break - boooo!), but clocking off early to get the Eurostar later. Amsterdam here I come!
90 minute wait to get through to the DVLA license medical section this afternoon. My driving license expires net month .
That is after a 4 week having sent it by post.
It took the phone call to get it even on their systems
The nice thing about Service NSW is that you go in personally and they handle everything. You might have to wait about 15 minutes to be called to the counter depending on the rush but I have never waited more than 15 minutes…
The only annoying thing is that they used to print a new licence on the spot after they took your photo but now they give you a slip and post the licence to you. I don’t know why this has gone backwards.
