Good Morning Friday, 6th November 2026

Good morning all on a very middling November day, supposed to be sunny and warm but grey clouds roll over the sky occasionally. Not happy Jan.

It has been a very busy morning, first, because of the promised sunshine I got all my washing in the machine and on the line by 8.30.

Followed this up with a visit to the Pathology place for a blood test for my specialist (my new drug can affect the liver or the kidney so one of the tests was to look at that).

The went on line and ordered a so called “Power Station” from a company advertising on Amazon, it cost $750 when most places are advertising it for up to $999. It’s this one:

It is based on Lithium cells, this one is about 14kg which I can just about lift, the next model up weighs 30kg.

It is for two purposes; in the event of a power cut I can plug my fridge and freezer into it while I get one of my generators up from the garage (depends on how long is the outage) The second one is to run my TV etc in my camper when I have free camping with out having to fiddle about with 12 volt connections.

I also made a very disappointing trip to Bunnings, they didn’t have the LED light I wanted to replace the fluorescent light on my front verandah. Ended up only buying a switchable power board.

Anyway that is my morning so far, my bedding on the line has been dry for ages so I will get that in, with any luck the clothes will be dry too.

Enjoy your Friday.

Take care…

Good Morning everybody

A pleasant day, dry and mild with some sunshine forecast later

A lazy morning for me, I have invited a dear friend for lunch, recently diagnosed with dementia, it’s heartbreaking to see her getting so confused

I’ll go to the nearby shops later just for a bit of exercise

Enjoy your day and have a good weekend

Good morning to one and all…

A sunny, if cloudy day here on the south coast.

Just come back from my daily walk and swan feed and stopped to have a relaxing coffee on the way. Not sure what’s going down in this part of the world, yesterday I had quite a successful studio shoot and looks like its going to take quite a while to go through them all and pick out the ones for my slowly growing portfolio. That said, I have a feeling I may be forced to take the wife shopping later and maybe get lunch out. There is a garden centre nearby that does amazing cherry scones with cream and jam which I can use for an excuse to buy some things I need for some outstanding garden jobs I need to do.

Have a great start to the weekend…

:cupcake: :coffee:
