Good Morning Friday 6th May 2022

Morning all,

Feeling pretty good after some good sleep and a nice talk on the phone with one of my favorite people.

Listened to part of an audio book that I really enjoyed.

Quote for the day from my app:

Have a great day today - loving, believing, doing and living!

Good afternoon.

I am taking advantage of neighbours both sides being out, and having a rare sit in the garden. Washing from my few days away blowing nicely in the breeze, and in the sun. Almost dry. Been out for dog walk and she is outside with me.

Once neighbours return I will retreat indoors. Oh dear, they’re back. The worst ones. Can hear them in the garden.

@Jazzi Sorry you’re having trouble with your neighbors. I have the same issue so I can empathize.

Good Morning/Afternoon everyone.

Was at the Surgery early on for a fasting blood test, then caught a bus up to Sainsbury’s to collect a birthday cake and some appropriate candles, walked home from there (1 Mile), wished I hadn’t, made a pot of tea and a cheese/ham/pickle sandwich. Might just have to ogle Martin Shaw/Judge John Deed for an hour or two - then bathe, into glad rags, and out to the restaurant to celebrate a friend’s birthday!

Good afternoon to you too !
And I have been out with the the dogs also and then the next stroll was to Aldi with my wife and dog.

I’m sorry that you don’t seem to have good neighbours. I wish it were otherwise. We are lucky in that respect - we have a lovely bunch. We exchange plants, vegetables, cakes and we regularly go to the shops if they need us to fetch anything.

I had no problems when the gay man lived there. He was always out at his partner’s place, but when his father died, after some work, he decided to sell up here and move into the house he grew up in. Left the way wide open for a property developer to buy for renting out. While I can hear the man and his two boys on the other side, through the house walls, they are never really out in the garden. Being concrete they probably don’t feel it safe for the children, I have never asked why they don’t use it. NfH live out in theirs, rarely staying inside.

It wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t feel the need to open that front door every five minutes (to the bins mostly) and then slam it! Hoping they go ahead with plans on moving them out to the back.

Edited. Just been out into garden to pack up Holly’s mat and my chair, and I can hear music and dogs barking from across the alley. Oh dear. I have locked back door now.

Awful for you. Can you have a polite word with them? Or can you move?
