Good morning again. Yet another warm humid night, am getting very tired of them, apparently it is due to the winds bring air down from the monsoonal tropical north, it is not entirely unusual but rarely lasts for so long. It does mean some funny clouds and mist first thing in the morning with so much moisture in the air.
My middle son just rang me, he was in the honour guard farewelling the Canadian PM at Canberra airport this morning and also when Carney visited Parliament house yesterday but he is driving down this arvo with grandkids for a visit over the weekend. Luckily I have jobs for him!
Washed a few more clothes in the machine this morning so I should now have enough to last me for a week or at least until there is a dry day again. I was almost down to my last T shirt and undies yesterday
@Bruce, Right now in Thailand it’s just as hot as where you are may be hotter. It’s so hot that I almost feel like jumping into a bucket of ice.
I’m trying to keep my mind calm, so I bought some vegetable seeds to grow using a hydroponic system, hopefully gardening will help cool my mind a little.
A friend from Sweden is visiting me. She wants to go to the sea because she recently divorced her husband and needs a bit of rest and a change of atmosphere. As for me, I don’t really feel like traveling anywhere right now. I’m still quite tired from my previous trip and haven’t fully recovered yet.
Yesterday I had to send my car in for repairs because some sensors are broken. It will probably stay at the garage for several days, so I can’t really go anywhere. I’ve been ordering food and spending time learning different things on YouTube. I don’t want to become an old person who is out of touch with the world.
But when I watch YouTube and see so much news about Trump, it really disturbs my peace of mind. Sometimes I wonder when people like that will finally disappear from the world.
Anyway, I wish everyone a lot of happiness. It’s the last day of the week already.
A bit overcast today, I’m not complaining after yesterday’s glorious sunshine!
Today is to be devoted to domestic chores, a couple of bills to pay too.
I was in my friendly local yesterday chatting to the landlady about black and white film photography, she’s a bit of a fan it would seem!
She’s going to be organising a kind of display of various arts and crafts from people in the community who are that way inclined. I’ve been asked if I’d like to exhibit a portfolio of piccies
Got to get my skates on and send a couple of rolls off for processing and get my head around some enlargements…
House in disarray today, getting our central heating flushed and serviced. That means lots of moving stuff and turmoil in general. I can cope with it, but its a serious issue for the wife and causes loads of stress for her. Still, one of them things which has to be done.
