Good Morning Friday, 6th December 2024

Good morning to everybody as we creep closer to Christmas on this warm Friday. Only 18½ days to go!

A 30° day here, so my washing is already on the line, won’t take long to dry.

However, as I have complained before, these hot days caused by northerly winds from the tropics are humid so the house never gets a chance to cool down overnight. I shall be much happier when the wind starts to come from the west and the dry interior.

Apart from my laundry and retrieving my garbage bins I really have no idea what I am going to do for the rest of the day, don’t need any shopping, don’t like watching TV during the day. I expect I will find something inane to keep me busy.

What do you have planned for today?

Looking forward to the weekend?

Take care…

“Through the next few days, it’s going to feel more like a stretch of weather in Darwin than what you’re used to down here.”

I don’t like the sound of that.

The Woolies strike has turned nasty. No fruit cake today!!!

The temperature has dropped like a stone here in the last hour so I have all the doors and windows open to cool the place down. A bit of rain would go down well but not likely at the moment.

Got three more Harlan Coban books from the Op Shop and planted out one of my succulents this arvo so was very happy with that.

Good morning - It’s 8ºC and sunny at the moment. The calm before the storm. There is one on its way according to the forecast.

Got to wait in for the District Nurse today and there’s no telling what time she (or they) might come.

Not much to do today as I did most of it yesterday. I had to sign and get witnessed the necessary documents for the sale of my brother’s house. That will hopefully …but somewhat sadly, be completed before Christmas.

Might do some more leaf gathering after the Nurse’s visit.

Have a good day.
