Good Morning Friday 5th January 2024

Morning all!

Placed a grocery delivery order yesterday to be delivered today.

Had a good chat on the phone.

Still relatively quiet here.

Today’s task is getting the delivery.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Butter.

I could probably do with ordering foodstuff for delivery, but am ok for now. It’s the basics I run out of quicker, like milk and bread. A quick bus trip to town and I can stock up. I have plenty of dog food, biscuits and treats so Holly won’t starve. And neither will I, really. Never had a supermarket delivery as have always managed to get to shops. Plus, there is the matter of the minimum spend amount. Well I would struggle to reach that.

We had horrible weather again last night so I didn’t walk Holly, so spect I should see to her soon. It’s just non stop rain, day after day. If conditions clear up today, I might take the short bus trip into town for the library and return everything. Went to select a book last night and didn’t fancy any one of them. Might even have another go on the computer on the genealogy website.

Good morning all, rained all night and early this morning.

Not going out today.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning!
Dull but dry

The place is tidy and I have food in, so I’ve decided to have a quiet, easy day – so what’s new, I hear you ask!
I’m going to make cups of tea, settle into my comfy chair, and catch up with 3 part read books that I’ve had hanging around for weeks

The minimum spend is $35 where I shop. In the past, I might have struggled to get to the minimum, but with rising prices, I would struggle to go below that now. I like to get everything at once so I don’t have to do it too many times.

Since I pay a subscription for delivery, I don’t pay for individual deliveries. I’m trying to get myself to order more times so it’s not such a big chore all at once, but ordering is such a hassle, I end up ordering a big order.

Our minimum prices are £40-50. Under that then incurs a basket charge of £3-5.
