Good morning Friday 4th November 2022

Good morning, all!

An early start again. Have been up and working since 3am and managed to get a few things in order. Have a busy schedule ahead for the coming weeks, so these quiet mornings do help.

Still getting in those few hours at the gym. Never thought it would become something I really enjoy. Steps per day have fallen slightly, so need to get off my butt and move around more.

Have a good one.

What on earth do you do at 3 am ?

Good morning!

I’m up early as well
It’s still dark but it looks clear; I can see stars and by the glimmer of a street light there seems to be frost, or at least heavy dew on the cars

I’ll make the effort to do some shopping early
I had a wisdom tooth extracted 4 days ago, not a wonderful experience as you might imagine, but it’s starting to heal
So my shopping list includes soup, canned rice pudding, and yogurt

Then I’ll come straight home and carry on with my model plane for a bit
I might even go back to bed for an hour or two this afternoon

Morning all!

Been basking under my new electric throw blanket. Toasty and warm.

I’ve just watched the first two episodes of Brokenwood Mysteries. I’m enjoying this series a lot.

No plans for today but a grocery delivery might be nice.

Have a fantastic day everyone.

@M44 I changed your thread title so someone else doesn’t start another morning thread by mistake. :slightly_smiling_face:

Good morning all.

I was also up early, did a load of washing at 4am this morning, now dried and put away, next task is stripping the beds and washing the bed sheets, then do some dusting.

Not going out today.

Have a nice day all.

Spent the day at Timbertown, I last visited 35 years when my daughter was a toddler, it seems to have gone downhill a bit since then, in those days all the shops actually worked, the printers would print a poster, the leather worker made me a bookmark and so on but it was still good value.

The entry included rides including a steam train (had several goes on that).

Morning all.

Had to find my new window vac this morning. A lot of condensation on bedroom windows. Did the job perfectly. Problem is, no idea where the charger is (not in box).

Washing bed linen now, and will put dehumidifier on later to help dry it.

Might go out later.

IIRC @M44 is a teacher. If so, then (s)he may well be self medicating at 3am.:grin::joy:

I was awake @5 a.m but no way had thoughts of getting up to do chores .

So agree with you there. I got up about 5 for the bathroom (rather than use the commode) and made a decaf coffee, which I took back to bed, and then slept on.

Hi Muddy!
I found 3am the best time for me to actually calm my mind. Not sure why. I’m more refreshed at that time in the morning; everything seems clearer without the external and internal noise (even the noise in my head).
It’s just after 5am now (Sat morning) and I have been up since 4:30 (I had a lie in this morning).

Agree about the condensation on the windows! I have a pet peeve about the windows having water dripping on the sill (childhood memories of being asked the clean the windows - good times). Like the idea of the window vac. May have a look into that.

M44, can’t remember where I bought mine from. It’s also for cleaning windows too. Oh, it’s a Beldray.
