Am up with a cuppa, just had tablets, and wondering whether to go back to bed for another hour. Feel quite tired still. Depends if Holly lets me, now she is down here having biscuits.
Off for a second attempt to get my advisory tyre fitted (it wasnât in yet, when I went but is now) then I will detour to the retail park. Next time for my other tyres that need replacing, but later, I will use the mobile fitting company.

Still dark in my part of Yorkshire but it seems quietâŠno wind which is good.
Nothing much planned for me today except trying on summer clothes to see what is still OK for a holiday we just bookedâŠthats if Covid doesnât intervene.

Iâm looking forward to lunch with some friends from one of my face-book groups.
Daughter Karen is coming to be with Tony while Iâm gone.
No other plans other than an Aldi shop (maybe) Iâll see how I feel.

Rain & wind last night, but itâs dry now, though dull & damp
Iâll probably have my hair cut later this morning, and do some shopping at the local shops
Then I hope to spend the rest of Friday afternoon, and the weekend, on hobbies.

Dark here, raining, and a bit chilly. Todayâs plan is to continue to fill boxes and steel myself to take them to the charity shop. Trying out the âLove it or lose itâ style of sorting, and its really not working too well. I like everything I have, thatâs why I have it!

Another day of broken sleep due to noise outside. Getting tired of this.
Still hooked on Top Chef (tv show), so Iâll be probably watching that today.
Feeling disappointed by an event today.
Good morning all, rain here overnight but stopped now although quite a bit cooler this morning.
Just back from the Tesco shop and have got some bread knocked up which is proving now in a warm corner. As well as the bread Iâll be cooking smoked haddock and poached eggs for lunch later, but no other plans as yet .

Have some printing to do for a neighbour - her 25yr old Epson has finally died !
Waiting for a a âcraftyâ type delivery from Hunkydory in Preston - and - the really boring bit - doing the âend of monthâ household accounts which should have been done last weekend!

Cool day (low 20s), last day to take the doggie for a walk, my son is collecting him tomorrow.
A couple of showers during the day but sun in between. Terrible summer.
Next week I am visiting Canberra for a few days.

It started off a bit drizzly, but now the clouds have all blown away and the sun is out, so I thought Iâd try a longer walk today. Maybe a ten miler, the shorts are on in anticipationâŠ

No! seriouslyâŠI was with Specsavers but went to Boots yesterday and was very impressed, the nice lady who tested my eyes was Samantha, and she told me I had lovely eyesâŠ
By the way Summer, I heard you were trying summer stuff on today to decide what you might keep or chuck outâŠSend me a couple of photos and I might be able to helpâŠ

Morning awl! Late this morning - have not yet strolled but it is a fine morning for it.
Morning all, itâs a beautiful sunny day here, hope it lasts!
My sister is not so good. She rang her DiL during the night (sheâs on nights so that was OK) and sounded very confused, wanted to go home, didnât know why she was there. A doctor is going to assess her this morning, as the hospital told my nephew that sheâs very agitated. They need to know whether itâs the drugs sheâs on or something worse 
Iâm so worried that the cardiac arrest has done some damage. Iâve sent her a couple of WhatsApps and I can see sheâs seen them, but had no reply, but I will continue sending them every so often.

It was pouring with rain earlier, but bright and sunny now.
Sorry to hear your sister is not too good, Sheba. Hope things improve soon.
I havenât got much of interest going on today, just a quick trip to the garden centre for some houseplant compost, and the usual household chores, and thatâs about as exciting as it gets.

Good morning all! Here itâs -14° with a high of 5°. Going to the grocerâs today. New laptop is supposed to arrive. So slightly busy, but nothing pressing.
