A late good morning all.
Glorious warm sunny day here.
I am just going off to the garden centre for some of their own compost. It is always good and reliable quality.
I have bathed and dried one of the dogs ready for clipping later, put all the towels out on the line, had a natter to the chap across the road, brought me bins in, and just going to have a snack before I go out.
Rain is forecast for tomorrow, some heavy as well, so I’ll be able to try out my new water butt.
I am slaving over a hot stove. Made a cauldron of Minestrone soup, a salmon and brocolli quiche, cheese and bacon quiche on the way - and one of my neighbours requested ( well - more hinted) a Lemon Meringe Pie!
Cooked a minted lamb swirl and roasties for lunch. Had hung some washing out earlier and just brought some in, after the dog walk. Now having a sneezing fit.
Will feed dog, make a cuppa and am hoping next door won’t be noisy so I can have a little sit out with my book.
Been a busy day. We walked the dogs of course them my dear has been cooking and baking for the Jubilee. I cut the grass - it got seriously long when I had a problem with my chapped fingers. They are still a problem but much improved. Then we and our neighbours installed bunting for the festivities.
Afternoon all, just come back from a Craft fair for the Jubilee, it’s going on until 7pm tonight, it is a good turnout, Brass band, BQ, Craft Stalls, loads of people there sitting on the grass having picnics.
Hello everyone!
It has been a good day so far. Lots of time with the family and cooked up another batch of muffins. Back to school on Monday, so relishing the time I have. Started work around 5am and then made a concerted effort to switch off for training. Doing better each day, but need to think about how to incorporate it into my weekly schedule when back at school.

Been having some down time for the last couple days. It’s been a restful time. I did water the yard and clean up a bit. Other than that, just chillin’.
