Good morning Friday 3rd Sept

Good morning everyone, a little gloomy here with drizzle but hopefully it will brighten later. :sunglasses:

Just some gardening for me today tidying up for the autumn, and just a light stir fry for lunch as we may have overdone the pud yesterday after our birthday celebration pub lunch…
Before…

And after… :flushed:

Have a pleasant day everyone

good morning, bit grey here but forcast is good for the week. Mrs M is away for the week with friends on a walking holiday, so i’m self catering, but may pop out for a few meals

Good morning Barry, I hope you ate that pud after your flying!

Good morning chatters wherever you may be. Bright and breezy at the moment but looks promising :+1: . Waiting for my new Vax to be delivered this morning so will be busy no doubt later. A mans work is never done. (I think that’s right :man_shrugging:t2:) :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Good morning 72 years since the onset of WW11

Good morning all, it’s a lovely sunny start to the day here. Going to Tesco this morning with my daughter, then this afternoon she’s having her nails done, before one of us takes her to the surgery for an injection (no, not that injection, she’s already double jabbed!). Thing is she doesn’t drive, and despite there being 3 branches of this particular GP practice in our town, they’ve only been able to arrange it at another town 6 miles away :icon_rolleyes:

Enjoy your day folks

Morning all.

Good morning everybody.

Think I’ll catch up on my own washing & housework today - I’ve been helping Ady & Paula all last week get ready for their house move.

Have a good day all.

Morning all. A bit dull outside.
Got appointment for Chiropractic this morning.

Bathsheba, that is disgusting, 6 miles away, I think these Doctors should all get back to working again Face to Face appointments and sort themselves out.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning - Some brightness today for a change. A ride to the allotment this morning and take our daughter in the car to see my brother this afternoon. She’s here without a car and doesn’t ride a bike.

I think you will find it was 82 years ago, Muddy :slightly_smiling_face:

Good morning all :slightly_smiling_face: a fair day here with patches of blue sky pushing through the clouds.

Off to the hairdressers shortly to get my hair cut and look presentable again! :slightly_smiling_face:

Enjoy your day folks :slightly_smiling_face:

It has been a lovely sunny day in the mid 20s, did some shopping this morning, even mowed the grass (the council’s bit) and put my old fridge out on the verandah (will decide what to do with it later)

Weather not so good for the weekend though the rain is welcome

But the top end has a fire warning

Oh well, I hope nothing extreme for you

Yes - I was trying to work that one out!!

Hi

Good Morning All, just.

Grey with a little drizzle today.

I have been out, on my own, a little drive to the Cashpoint and Lidl.

I am absolutely shattered but have done it.

The driving was less than 8 minutes in total, the hard bit was walking round a small lidl.

Very happy, a step or two in the right direction.

@swimfeeders
Do you use a cane whilst walking Swimmy? That would help you with balance.

Wow that looks totally scrumptious…

Good afternoon all

Have started here to clear out the rooms I did when Mom died but have not done anymore since really until last few weeks, I have taken 16 bags to the charity shop and 11 to the skip.

Have given photos and photo albums to my brother and sister and their families and my cousins (IF THEIR PARENTS ETC ON THEM).

Have given three of my late aunts albums to the church she attended as she was a choir and Sunday school teacher there as well as teacher in the school back in the late 50’s for their 150th anniversary next year photo wall. (apparently gone down well) she collected photos/letters from the church as well so they were well chuffed according to the email received yesterday.

Now slowly working my way through and then sorting the room out I have rooms I don’t use because they have over time become set up for family/old age use, and I am me myself and I and the dog so a bit of a rethink I think.

Quite an adventure actually.

So that’s me people have a good day yourselves and hope everyone is doing well.

And is anyone else considering switching the heating back on?

@Bruce there seems to be ā€œoddā€ weather all over my cousins step daughter lives in New York and they have been put on weather alert.

Stay safe, and what’s the options for the fridge?

Good morning everyone :slightly_smiling_face: dull dull dull.

I have just put the Waitrose order away and prepared lunch. I hope to do the lawns if it stays fine .

@Barry yummy Barry :slightly_smiling_face: I hope you enjoyed your lunch the chocolate fondant looks lovely.
