Good morning dear folks, another warm day here with the heatwave continuing inland unabated. Here not too bad at all, mid/high 20s. Still no rain though, could do with some again.
Went for my walk this morning, trying a different older route that I haven’t taken for a while.
When I returned home I flew my drone up to a height of 1.5 m just to use a new battery (sometimes takes a couple of charges to get to full capacity) and to take a new photo for the intro to my latest epic. The old photo didn’t have its latest anti bird strike livery.
Will have to spend the arvo tidying up in one of my bedrooms as my son, his family and dog are arriving later. Presumably they will stay the weekend, not sure the purpose of the visit but I have jobs for them.
The Comedy play I went to see yesterday was not funny to me, but a woman behind me was so loud laughing it drowned out what was said on stage .I left in the interval .
I found out Leo Sayer is in Concert in November, tickets on sale later this morning.I shall grab one , he was favourite of mine back in the day .
Its another rain day ,think it will be a rest day , Ive no wish to get wet …
Good morn8ng all, wet outside in Bromley Kent area, had coffee and took dog out for his walk, got 3/4 way round when heavens opened again enjoy your day if you can and stay dry if you g9 out
Sat here in a coffee shop having a quick bacon roll before dropping the wife off to the chiropractor and then quickly pick up some parcels from the supermarket, then back home ‘confined to quarters’ whilst waiting for a UPS delivery at some time today. If its not too late, may go for my daily walk and swan feed later.
Good Day Everyone frequenting the forum this Lunchtime?
Blimey, where does the time go…
Took my smartphone out with me on my walk this morning, it’s like humping ‘The complete works of Harry Potter’ about with me it’s so big…
It’s been raining all night, and only stopped for about half an hour while I was out…
This is ‘Moor Lane’ and the puddle was too deep to wade through so I shimmied up the muddy bank on the left. It was so slippy I almost slipped down into the murky depths. If it’s still like this on Sunday when I next pass this way, I’ll wade through the water instead. At least I should be able to stay upright…
The road over the bridge was closed due to flooding, but some drivers were ignoring the road closed sign and going to try their luck anyway. I’ll probably be reading about them in next weeks local paper…
I used to go to work that way and drove through the flood in my van, the carpets actually started to float but the diesel just kept on going…
Great photos Bruce, lets hope that our summer turn out to be just as nice.
Leo Sayer, one of my favourites too Eliza, Still play ‘Moonlighting’ one of my top ten…
