Was hoping to get a task done yesterday but it was a struggle so I gave it up. I’ve been dealing with some muscle pain that I haven’t figured out yet. I have several ideas what it might be from. It’s taking a while to test it out.
I did more sleeping. The weather is still beautiful so a good day for that.
I’m packing today…yay! Off on my holipops on Sunday…can’t pack tomorrow as I’m accompanying little Stanley to a birthday party…my son would usually take him but he is away in Holland and Trish my daughter in law isn’t well so a lot of driving for me…3 hours in total but he was so looking forward to his best pals party…has to be done
Cant wait for a break…going with pals too so should be fun
I’m feeling sad today with my achy arm , yesterday I had a flu jab . I’d only popped into the chemist for a friend who needed paracetamol.
Thankfully I was wearing a sparkling white bra under the strappy top.
Car mostly packed. Just had lunch and relaxing, as been busy all day. Made up some sausage rolls with Richmond sausage meat to take away. Then will cook them tomorrow. I have plans on celebrating my birthday, three weeks late, and maybe over two days! Tomorrow and Sunday. There will be cream teas, dainty sandwiches, hot sausage rolls, cakes, wine. And I will put out all my cards.
This flipping virus robbed me of my birthday.
Chinese take away tonight and have the rest tomorrow. Sunday, will be home made meat loaf and full roast. Bananas and evaporated milk for dessert. About an hour before I leave, will collect together all frozen and chilled foods, for packing.
Well, I did my ramble – about 4 miles, weather was nice & sunny despite all the recent warnings of heavy rain
Drove part way up Longridge Fell on minor roads, then walked on forest tracks and finally about half a mile on moorland to the trig point.
Nice views across the low countryside to The Forest of Bowland, and even to the southern Yorkshire Dales
I hadn’t done any hiking thanks to the Lockdown, and then somehow I didn’t pick it up again, and as usual, summer has taken me by surprise so I thought I’d better do something before summer time ends, that gives me about 4 weeks to catch up
Sorry to hear that Swimmy, I can relate to that too…After a fall outside Sainsbury’s on the wet tiles outside I managed to write the car off while driving home in the rain.
Gout seems to have travelled from my big toe to Ankle and then to the other leg. Visited the hospital after the doctor felt he was out of his depth and we spent eight hours in A&E managing to catch Covid while there. It’s been over a month now since I’ve been incapacitated and unable to walk properly and lost several nights sleep with the excruciating pain. Fortunately I’ve managed to find a doctor who knows what she is doing and after a further course of Colchicine and antbiotics I today visited the hospital for some blood tests. A decision on how to proceed (probably Allopurinol) will be made next Friday. The only day the doctor attends our local surgery.
