I mainly use cards too but am the same for small purchases, the trouble is I tend to use a note each time so end up with a pocketful of shrapnel, all the 5c and 10c coins I usually throw in a charity box or refuse.
I’m sorry to hear that Chilli, is it a serious issue or have you got other plans and be okay?
James Cordon and calculus should never be used in the same sentence Surfer…
That must be the first time ever.
Good grief, have I inadvertently thrown the entire balance of the universe out of alignment? Hang on!
(Please send that return address for James, if you would be so kind.)
Quite the irritant to counterfeiters who are out there somewhere mumbling about the price of ink.
I don’t think ink is the problem, they are made of some type of plastic and have lots of laser holograms (?) on them. (Australian invention apparently)
Perhaps we could change it to calculating before anyone notices?
Thanks Foxy
It’s annoying rather than serious. I’m actually looking for full time work now, something more concrete. I’ll be hammering out applications on the laptop. Living in a busy airport town something will come up although the situation has changed since COVID.
Basically I had to cancel a few shifts recently in a rather remote location due to family circumstances which is why they gave me the push.
It’s just a case of getting on with things as ever!
