Good Morning - Friday 26th November

Good Morning everyone.

Dark and cold here today - quite a frost overnight - all my neighbour’s cars have neat white roofs.

Off to a garden centre with a friend - supposedly ‘C’ shopping - but I am sure lunch will also be involved.

Have a fun day

Raining and chilly again, no more than 18 or 19’ today. Hate it. The ground is completely saturated, the dams are full, no need for any more rain. It is summer next week and we haven’t had spring yet

Hope your day is better!

Good morning! Warm, lashing with rain, and gales being served up around lunchtime courtesy of Storm Arwen  Day in the house I think today, apart from one fleeting shop visit to gather supplies. Have a lovely day everyone

‘C’…Cannabis?

Morning everyone

Really cold here this morning…its an exciting day as I’m getting Christmas decs out later…yay!! I’ll post a pic of my tree when its up just to remind you all its almost Christmas

Have a good day everyone

Hi

Good Morning All.

Very cold and wet here.

We have very high Covid rates here, so more cancelled appointments and most definitely staying in time.

Have a good day all.

Morning all.

Christmas will not be served in this house until, ooh, maybe a week before? I will start doing my cards in the first week of Dec, as I have to post one, with a birthday, to the US.

Hoping the dog won’t linger on our walks. I try to minimise our time out when it’s so cold.

Will Hoover today. Then another job is trying to get a plumber, any one, who is available to come and replace my kitchen mixer tap. It is dripping more and more now.

LOL - no thanks, I can get high enough on life. I meant Christmas - but was being discreet as it is still only November over here!!!

Good morning everyone, lashing down with rain earlier it’s eased off now for awhile but more for later with gales they say…

Just done the weekend shop and waiting for my dough to rise to make a loaf. Nothing else planned but a short walk later if the weather brightens.

Enjoy your day folks

Another cold wet start to the day down here in the Weald. Looks like another indoors day. Was intending a town visit but can’t be bothered. :man_shrugging:t2: Enjoy whatever you have planned.

Cold, windy and the kind of day best spent at home keeping warm.

Fingers crossed everyone enjoys a good day :crossed_fingers::point_right::+1::wave:

Good morning all :slightly_smiling_face: the sun is just rising above the roof tops, not as chilly as it was yesterday.

Going to our daughter’s this morning to drop off some ‘goodies’ I have for her.
We will have a little chat outside her house but won’t stay long as it will be too cold for her.

Enjoy your day folks…

Good morning all.
Colder today, and wet and windy but much worse forecast for later. :slightly_frowning_face:

Might nip out to Hobbycraft for a few bits, but otherwise me thinks it will be a day to stay indoors.
Have a good day folks.

Morning all, its raining here.

All my Cards are written out and ready to be posted, but will not post them just yet. I did post 3 xmas cards yesterday - 2 to USA and 1 to Austria, nomal size cards, but cost me £6.50.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning everybody.

Wow Susie!! I think I’d send an e-card!!

Later today I’m meeting my friend Jean for lunch. She lost her husband in February this year & has decided to sell her property & move into a retirement block of apartments. It’s a big decision but I think it’s the right thing for her to do. I wanted Tony to go with me but he says he doesn’t want to sit there saying nothing with us both nattering away. Poor Tony - he’s lost the power of conversation so he’d say nothing whoever it was we were with…

None of the family are available to be with him while I’m out but he should be ok. I’ll only be gone about three hours. He’s got some jobs to do that will keep him busy - recycling the cardboard & paper & gathering all the leaves & dumping them in the garden bin. He’ll be exhausted after that and need a lie down on the settee…

When I get back we need a trip to Tesco to do the weekly shop. Such a lot of stuff I’ve run out of…

Have a good day all…

Have a good day all

A belated good morning :slightly_smiling_face: I got distracted,
Waitrose came early and there were a couple of things missing which I need so I popped out to a small shop to get them . Then I ‘anchored’ some things in the garden before the storm arrives.

I actually had more that 2 hours sleep without waking up last night. Chloe has started pottering about at night waking me which maybe due to CCD (canine dementia) and laying in the hall where it is very cold. So last night I dug out the canvas crate she used to have and put in a dog duvet and soft baby blanket and she slept downstairs in the hall in that draught free and cosy  she still has the option to come up to her bed upstairs.
I miss having her in the bedroom she is so sweet when sleeping but if she is happier downstairs that is her choice.

Storm Arwen is blowing gale here now. Lights blinking in and out. Supposed to last all night. Have looked out some candles but can’t find any matches.
