Good morning all. Warm enough today in the mid 20s though it is a little overcast. Had a pleasant enough walk first thing.
I am getting ready to drive to Canberra this arvo, I want to leave early enough to avoid the Sydney traffic heading out for the long weekend but not so early as to arrive in Canberra and get caught in their going home traffic. I suppose it is all relative, even the worst traffic in Canberra is nothing like I remember it in the UK or Europe, it is just what you are used to.
I doubt I will stay until Monday, probably come home on the Sunday evening.
Anyway I will be setting off soon - have a great day.
Another grey day here on the south coast. Today, the wife wants to go outlet shopping for new shoes and handbag, which means I’m in ‘shopping survival mode’, with my phone loaded with albums, videos I want to watch and a few games that I play when boredom really hits. Not to mention other stuff like power bank, cables and the directions to the nearest coffee shop should things get desperate. To top it off, it looks like its going to rain as well.
The play I went to see yesterday was good , called Single White Female , starred Kym
Marsh and Lisa Faulkner, both acted superbly .
I had not seen the film of the same name that was from 1992, so the storyline was new to me . Some parts had the audience jump when unexpected things happened .
Todays weather is much of the same , Grey and rain, and some strong winds on the way .
I shall go out for my 2 mile walk before coming back to cook Chicken Thighs and noodles …
