Good Morning Friday

No Bruce, hope he is OK.
Icy but sunny here, a day mostly on my own, no helpers until this evening.
Amazon have already been with 3 packages, but need help with putting the new wavemaker in the marine aquarium.
I am stuck on the bed until the Nurse has been,never a good way to be.
Remarkably quiet here today, I think the weather is keeping people inside, even the school kids were quiet this morning, all wrapped up in their scarfes.

Bit of a frosty start here by the seaside.
Not sure what’s going on today, need to get some stuff PAT tested today, but I’m not sure that’s going to happen. At least I managed to clean up my drive yesterday, or at least partially, but its good enough for now.

Did everything back to front today. Had a shower and breakfast first, perused the forum and then went for my walk around midday. Being so cold, I wore trousers and waited until it had warmed up a bit. Nice while out walking and adding a couple of jogs, but didn’t really feel up to it by the time I got home so had some lunch and collapsed on the sofa. I don’t think I’ve returned to fitness yet.
I’ve got lots to do putting up the christmas lights and felt guilty letting a nice day slip away, but sometimes I get overcome with tiredness and just have to rest.
I bet that aquarium is going to look brilliant Swimmy, and very calming. I used to sit for hours just watching the fish and listening to the quiet hum of the air pump…
I’m a bit odd like that…I love the rhythmic sound of motors and they send me to sleep.
When I was a boy, I slept in the room with the hot and cold water tanks, it was the warmest room in the house. Each morning my mum would run a bath before she went to work. On a weekend I used to lay there listening to the tanks empty and fill and it would send me to sleep…Even the vacuum cleaner or washing machine would make me sleepy…Not really good for someone who worked as a machinist…
