Did someone mention Christmas!! I have three family Birthdays before then…one is a big party too son in law’s 50th amazing to think he is eligible to come and post here…hope he doesn’t!!
Have to give some thought to Christmas though…you are very organised Rips you put me to shame!
I have a couple of errands, but nothing that won’t keep till Monday
So I’ll do a hobby, and I really should do some indoor exercise, like Canadian Airforce
Or I might just go back to bed with a book and a cup of tea
I don’t need to worry about Christmas, unless I decide to treat a few friends. My sister and I once agreed not to worry, as we both buy what we need, but sitting at her home yesterday, she was talking about her friends who had stayed recently. Sis has funds left on an Argos voucher, from work, and they had suggested she use the balance to get an iPad. After some haggling I will give her some towards it, and buy a cover, towards her 70th birthday in February, so thankfully that’s that sorted. She usually goes off to stay with family over Christmas so again, I have nobody to buy for.
Zuludog, your idea appeals to me very much!! I sometimes do that, if I want to read comfortably. I am in a good library book and as I will be having eye drops this morning, won’t be able to read until the eyes get back to normal. Diabetic eye screening at 11.20. Managed to pre book a taxi online. I am not waiting about for two buses in the rain, going, but will have to coming home. Unless I get another cab. Hmmm, shall I treat myself? It won’t break the bank.
I think about my brother and SiL, who are frittering away the proceeds of their car sale on cabs for hospital and other appointments. It seems every week one or the other needs to see someone.
good morning all ,
It was a night of heavy rain , hitting my bedroom window.I watched a series on YT till 3am then quickly fell asleep , but the rain disturbed my sleep.
The meal went well last night, and it was enjoyed by all .

Good Morning From Foxy’s Gaff…
Everything but the kitchen sink is being thrown at my window…
Decided against going for a walk this morning after I opened the door to look out and a gallon of water blew in…Not very nice when you are just in your wangers…
I’m glad I could get the new motor in the garage, there are branches and twigs blowing up the drive from the trees on the green…
I’ll get out some maps and plan some adventures for next year…
and is that a David Baldacci novel I see laying on the shelf…
Flooding at the bottom of my road , caused by new builds in the field behind next road … It happened 2 year ago and the builders had blocked a dyke , filled it with a soil heap . so its rushing through peoples properties .
Got to feel sorry when its man made and up untill the new estate , there was no floods .
