Good Morning Friday, 18th September 2026

Good morning (afternoon) to you all.

Jerilderie was lovely this morning, warm and sunny so nice to be back in NSW, Victorian roads are dreadful, not just rough but full of potholes, they must spend their money on things other than roads. Ironically I spent many kilometres on the wrong side of the Hume Highway because they are rebuilding a long section of the northbound lanes (in NSW)

Despite that just arrived in Canberra after an easy 400km drive from Jerilderie. I was going to drive back to Wollongong tomorrow but have been persuaded to watch my son play American Football with the Navy, (Have no idea of the rules) followed by a BBQ afterwards at my daughter’s house. It means that I won’t go home until Sunday.

It is nearly the weekend, what are your plans?

Take care…

Morning all…

A dull and cloudy day here in southern Hampshire. Today I’m off on a photoshoot at a cathedral having a flower exhibition, which they put on once every four years. Whilst I’m there, no doubt the wife will be off shopping and when I’m done, we’ll meet up for lunch. After that, no idea but I’ll probably be busy all weekend processing my pics, which take an age to do.

As for the weekend, no idea (as usual). May try to go to a fayre if the weather holds up, but nothing significant planned.

Have a great day all…

Good morning all

I hope your week has been better than mine, won’t bore you with details but an emergency CT scan on Tuesday showed a DVT

Medication dosnt reduce the swelling, I’m unable to walk far, but managing to drag myself about the apartment and my daughter is helping me

If anybody has had DVT can you please let me know your experience, I’ll start a thread on it as I really am interested

Thanks, hoping you all have a good weekend

Good evening.
I’ve had an enjoyable day … and now I’m having an enjoyable day even though it has hissed it down all day.
