Cold and cloudy here today - don’t mind as I am grounded anyway - waiting for both Hermes and Amazon deliveries. Also need to clear anything breakable from the kitchen work tops ready for the new cooker arriving on Monday. The fitters wil have
a divil of a job extricating the Wolfe as the kitchen was built around it!

The other evening I was out walking and I slipped down a muddy incline. I didn’t think anything of it at the time, but yesterday my back was quite sore (still is) and now my shoulder is very sore and achy. I feel like I have been pummelled. I wonder what took the pain so long to materialise? That’ll teach me to go waltzing around the countryside like I’m 5. 
Anyway, no plans for today, but the sun is out so I’ll be sitting in the garden mostly I think. Drinking coffee and wishing I wasn’t old.

Just back from doing the weekend Tesco shop, now having a coffee before doing anything else, which may include cleaning the bathroom and setting some more seeds off in the greenhouse.

Today I’m having my little grandson Stanley staying over…taking him to his favourite Italian restaurant later…he loves their pizza…it looks like the sun has come out too …yay!

Warm and sunny today with temps getting into the high 20s but now a southerly has just gone through and it looks like a rain or even a storm this evening.
Moved my teardrop camper to the centre of the carport so I can pull off, clean and regrease the wheel bearings, I try to do it every year.
Got a message from my son telling me that he is picking up his dog on Monday.

Morning all
It was 3 degrees but sunny when I left for work at 7.30am. I hope it warms up by time I get out of work.
I finish today for a weeks holiday from work yay…me and John are going away on Monday for 3 nights, can’t wait, the break away is so needed. I wish I didn’t feel so guilty for leaving my Dad, I wish he’d come with us. I;m going to go see him on Monday morning before we leave then I’ll go on Thursday when we return so really he’s only not seeing me tuesday and Wednesday, it’s ridiculous why I feel so bad leaving him, he’ll be fine!! We are only going just over an hour away in the Dales so should Dad need me urgently we’ll just be able to pop back, but…he’ll be fine!!! I’ll phone him regularly.
God knows John and I need this break though. I do hope the weather will be kind to us, we are taking Loki and there are some lovely walks around where we are staying.
Anyway I’ve waffled long enough, sorry. Have a good day all.

Good morning all.
A beautiful cloudless blue sky and sunshine all morning.
I must get outside and get some garden jobs done. I’ve had 3 new roses delivered this morning, and I’ve got 52 seedlings that need potting on, too.
I’ve got a sore eye and it’s driving me nuts. Nurse gave me some antibiotic ointment yesterday, but its not made a scrap of difference so far. It’s really stinging.
Ah well, onwards and upwards ey.
