I’d like to have stayed in bed but got lots of fuss from the dog a few minutes ago, so decided well, it’s light!
Just my hair cut planned for later this afternoon, delayed due to the girl having Covid.

Hopefully a lovely peaceful day where I can do what I want, after a hectic week.
Bin men been, dogs out, wild birds fed, brekkie finished so time for another cuppa.

Morning everyone, it was misty earlier, but now cleared and promises to be a dry, sunny day.
Might make a start on a bag for my daughter today. She wants a boxed tote bag, lined with food safe wipe clean fabric, with a zip closure and some pockets. Oh and an embroidered elephant on the front 
. So, quite a lot of work to do, better get cracking!

Good morning all. It’s 5°. I’m expecting it to be a great day. Workers finally came yesterday and installed my new blinds. So I’m happy.
Good morning everyone freezing fog here brrrr…
I have made a batch of 36 mince pies for the children with the remaining home made mincemeat.
It was a nightmare trying to roll out pasty and access the oven with a bad back but I managed it and will deliver them to our meeting place on the common tomorrow.
I still have lots of dried fruit left but don’t think I will make any more mincemeat this year, the children can eat the dried fruit as a snack.

Got an email today from HR telling me my contract is terminated from today and I need to return all my stuff, ID, badge etc. Doesn’t help when they are all still on holiday and forget to extend my new 2022 contract in the HR system before they all go away for their holidays.
Anyway, all sorted now thankfully. Last time this happened I couldn’t do any work for a month while I was onboarded again.
Apart from that, today has been good, saw my lad off to uni, picked up daughter and spent the rest of the day escalating my contract issues.
Not great for the nerves I can tell you
