Good morning dearly beloved on this second Friday the 13th for 2026.
Much cooler overnight - mid to high teens and today’s high is about the same as the night time temps for the past couple of weeks in the low 20s. Quite a change. Still a bit overcast though the sun peeps through occasionally, no rain so I had to water my potted plants.
Went for my walk this morning when I saw this small flock of Corellas having a noisy but apparently fine time grazing by the side of the road.
After returning home decided that it was about time I paid my stupidly bad at maths tax and bought four lottery tickets in the Mega Draw, the Jackpot is $27million. I can dream can’t I?
Might watch a bit of TV later even at series 6 I am still enjoying Homeland very much.
A bit nippy this morning, I put the heating on for a quick blast earlier. Yep, Friday the 13th today, not that I’m bothered about that!
Just listening to LBC radio at the moment.
I’ve been promising myself that I’d embark on a little kidney bean burger project at some point, might tackle that one later…
Morning all – yet another wet, windy and cold day (whatever happened to Spring!)
Met up with the usual group of miscreants yesterday for coffee, gossip and cake. There were only five of us but we still found plenty to talk about
Today I have someone calling to advise me on replacing my gas fire – I would prefer an electric fire but not sure if that will be possible, will wait and see what he has to say.
Just come back from my walk and feed the wildlife. It’s another blustery day here by the seaside. It rained during the night, making everything damp and muddy.
Not sure what’s going down today, apart from getting ready to go away for the weekend. A small trip to the midlands to my Photography show, which I go to every year and while up there, the wife gets to pick where she wants to go, namely a retail shopping outlet. As I am participating in a wedding in a few months time, she’s decided I need a new suit, having lost a lot of weight since I last wore one.
Anyways, whatever happens today, it won’t happen before my coffee fix. Have a great Friday all…

fish Tanks .And your garden also was part of your life . Keep your chin up and look for something to replace them .Perhaps Indoor plants could be your new hobby … lots to choose from and they do bring life into the home .
