Good morning all. Another warm spring day probably in the very high 20s or low 30s. and not too windy.
Of course it was bin day this morning the landfill and green bin have been emptied but still waiting for the recycling bin.
Set up my two new Wifi routers successfully last night. I set the second one as a slave (ie a non DHCP server), I was hoping to set it up as a Mesh system but apparently that is wifi only and turns off the ethernet ports which is no good to me. To be honest I am not really up with the modern network systems so it probably could be set up better but this works for me.
Went shopping for a few odds and ends, in particular I wanted a whiteout pen, I use it as a white marker on power plugs etc. Annoyingly they only had them in two packs and the last one lasted me nearly a decade so the second one will probably be a legacy for my kids.
As is often the case Bruce, I have no idea at all what you are talking about.
It is a real voyage of discovery for me reading up on things.
I’m slowly readjusting to life back at home, not entirely a bed of roses.
My landline has stopped working.
The small incision on my inner right thigh which they made to insert a probe in my veins has started leaking overnight, and there are problems with the filters on both fish tanks.
Luckily Kinga is here for 4 hours, so things should improve.
Mrs G is off to visit cousins today and sort out some arrangements for her Father’s funeral service. That leaves me on my own for much of the day, although I have more than enough stuff on my PC to keep me busy. Beyond that, not much to add. I may go for my daily walk later, depending on weather and a coffee and sandwich is a strong possibility.

This afternoon I hope to catch up with some of the cleaning I had intended to do yesterday
Another day of getting acorns off the lawn, only 2 bags this time. Surely there can’t be many more left on the trees? Next will be the leaves, but they are easy to gather up
I don’t know if it is going to rain, the sky is very grey, but at least one outside job done
