Good Morning Friday 10 December

Good Morning everybody!

Wet and grey up here, quite chilly too.

Nothing much planned for the day apart from a bit of re-organising.

Have a lovely day

Good morning Pixie and all to follow laterā€¦

A sunnier forecast for the day I believe, so I may get a couple of odd jobs done outside in the garden later, but no firm plans as yetā€¦

Have a pleasant day everyone

It was sunny this morning but the heavy rain from the south coast moved further north until it belted down this arvo.

The weather has gone past a joke.

Good morning from ā€˜out in the rural sticksā€™ to you all. :039:

Not raining but wet underfoot and cold at 4ĀŗC. Sunny spells generally with the odd shower forecast. Maximum temperature 7ĀŗC.

Keeping warm again today, doubtful if I will be venturing out at all.

Enjoy your day everybody, whatever you may be doing.

In WA they are evacuating towns because of out of control bush fires, it has always been a country of contrasts.

The forecast for the weekend is looking better though.

Morning all, dry here with sun trying to break through the clouds. Our 6 year old granddaughter had another sleepover last night, the last for a while because sheā€™ll be back to school on Monday, phew!!! Love her to bits, more than I can say, but 7 consecutive school days looking after her and doing home schooling, including three overnight stays, and Iā€™m beginning to feel dead on my feet

So, she goes home this afternoon, and then at 6.00 our 8 year old grandson arrives for a sleepover, as his parents are both out at different Christmas meals. Itā€™s all go here!

Have a great day everyone

Good morning all :slightly_smiling_face:

Clear blue sky and wall to wall sunshine here but oh so chillyā€¦ā€¦

Going to our daughterā€™s house this morning for a chat through her window.
She will be having her 12th and final (I hope) treatment next Wednesday. I long for the day when I will be able to give her a hug.

This afternoon I hope to clear the garden of fallen leaves.

Stay warm and safe folksā€¦

Good Morning all. Wet and overcast. Off for my booster.

Hello All

Cold here but washing on the line and blowing nicely did not finish the decorating yesterday had a chat with couple of friends on the phone very nice change to face book. So plan (heha) is

Dog walk
Washing on line
Toast and Coffee
Cut the wallpaper to size
Dog Walk
Send out my talking newspapers recording, waiting for up to date edit.(its my turn this week.) I read weekly news papers for the blind love it. Bit like talking books but local news etc we have a last minute edit for any breaking news.
Wall Paper
Trip to the Skip (pre-booked)
Dog Walk
Coffee
Put everything back in the room & lay the new rug.
Dinner and relax maybe open the tree up who knows.

In fact may even go out and put the batteries in the lights outside round the trees (decided last year to leave them and remove batteries and seal with shrink-wrap see how it goes may of been a mistake.

Love it if a plan comes together as I type I have just cut the wallpaper and checked my talking newspaper reads waiting for the last minute edit to be sent

Have a good day all

Since the ā€œFirst Day Of Christmasā€ (Christmas Eve?) is not very far away, at all, Iā€™d like to make some requests :-

  1. Please do NOT send me A Partridge in a pear tree. I have nowhere to keep it, and nothing to feed it on!

  2. Two Turtle Doves - What would anyone do with those?

  3. Three French Hens are no good to me! Iā€™ve noticed that my existing hens insist on pushing all the toads, etc., back into the pond!

  4. Four calling birds - well, that sounds interesting, if they are called Meg, Mags, Mups & Morticia! :mini: :mini: :mini: :mini:

  5. :ok_hand: :ok_hand: :ok_hand: :ok_hand: :ok_hand:

Be glad when Christmas is over, I canā€™t find room for all the gifts!
