Good morning!
It’s nice & sunny, and warming up, but I’m expecting a parcel delivery so I’ll be staying in
I have food, and hobbies to be getting on with, so it should be a nice easy, relaxing day
I’m in Canberra, it is cold and sunny. Took the dog for a walk this morning.
Off to a local club this evening for a meal because they have decided to leave on their trip first thing in the morning rather than this arvo. I am looking forward to that. Ironically I will have to sign them in as guests because they live too close to be visitors (I am a member)
Have a good one
I love that car Susie, always takes a good photo…
Morning everyone, just back from Tesco and grabbing a brew before walking the hound. Nothing much planned, just some paperwork so I may get an hour in the garden later.
Wishing you all a pleasant day
Hi
Good Morning All.
A lovely sunny day here.
The plan for today is to get me walking and then I can start planning my escape back home.
I have been in hospital a fortnight today, I need wine
Morning all.
Up now, having breakfast, WM on with a clothes wash.
Holly had me out at 5.30 for both toilets, with the longest wee I’ve ever seen!! Wouldn’t mind, took her outside at 10pm for that.
I will need a Tesco shop soon, as I have just opened my last box of their cereal I like. Usually get three boxes per visit. Must remember I have a voucher in my purse.
Pie and mash and liquor for lunch, my neighbour messaged me yesterday asking if I wanted any. I had already had my main meal lunchtime, so said yes, will save for today.
Swimmy, hope you are discharged soon.
2 weeks is too long without wine.
Get well soon Swimmy !
Now that is what I call a car! It is lovely.
Morning all
Glad it’s Friday, working until 11.45am then off to Dads to pick up his todays urine sample I’ve been asked to take in. The last one showed an increase in his sugar levels and kidney decline. No idea why his sugars have gone up, his diet is excellent and the only real treats he has is a mini roll a day which is 12 gms sugar. Is he going to have to cut out his one treat, poor Dad. Perhaps age is a factor in his rise in kidney and sugar levels.
His BP is continually very high and I’m worried out of my mind he’s headed for a stroke, his bp meds have been upped and it’s not made any difference, nurse coming to see him next week again. Strange this is he doesn’t feel at all unwell, he has no headaches, no dizziness and he feels really well, I can’t help but worry though, I adore my Dad and try my best to make sure he is as well as can be by looking after his diet and keeping a close eye on him, making sure he drinks plenty of fluid etc.
Anyway we’ll see how the todays urine sample is.
No real plans after Dads so I’ll escape and shut myself away crafting in my Happy Place
Have a lovely day all.
Lotsaluv, me x
Good rehearsal last night with our dep bass player (he was the bass player in a band called the Tweets in the 80s and did a song called "The Birdie Song - dressed up as a chicken on Top of the Pops regularly ).
Anyway, we play a big beer and cider festival at a cathedral next week so getting him back up to speed as our new bass player is in the USA. He was our permanent bass player until he started having tinitus and had to stop playing for a while. His main job of a studio engineer means his ears are his living so had to stop - good to have him back, I’ve missed that low end thump only he can bring.
Anyway, pub gig tonight and its going to be really hot and sweaty so can’t wait for that.
Happy Friday everyone !
Good Morning everyone,
It is a bit cloudy here - but very warm - mid 60fs.
Am waiting in this morning for Mr Amazon to bring me a couple of books - they were scheduled for Saturday but just had email to say they are on their way,
Out this after noon for an ECG - can I stand so much excitement in one day?
Take care all.
Queenie - I hope your dad is OK.
Susie’s OH showed me the car in their garage. It is gorgeous! He has done a great job, restoring it.
Morning all.
It was a scalding hot day yesterday. Slightly cooler at night. Doing some watering.
Talked to my phone friend. That’s always a great time.
Deciding if I want to order the groceries today. Other than that, no plans.
Have a marvelous day everyone.
Thanks Jazzi.
Swimmers hope you get discharged soon and get on the mend soon.
Morning all.
Cloudy, breezy, but dry here. A good washing day.
I have spent the entire morning sorting different things out, either on the phone, or on the internet.
I haven’t got anything done I intended to do yet.
Good luck with the ECG, Tabby. Hope it’s good news.
just thinking, why you having ECG Tabs, you haven’t been having heart issues have you? I hope not (hugs) Good luck and let us know how you get on.
Good morning all a fine sunny day with a gentle wind.
Looks like a crafty squirrel has been having a dig around in my large shrub pots, also in my large trough. First time that has happened and I’m hoping the squirrel won’t be making a habit of it.
Enjoy your day folks….
They’re a right pain sometimes, aren’t they Mags. They sometimes visit early in the morning here, so by the time I get up, the damage to my tubs has been done. I always know, because they throw compost everywhere!
@SilverTabby … I hope all goes well with your ECG
@swimfeeders … fingers crossed you will soon be well enough to return home.
My goodness that is purgatory !
Hope you get out soon Swims .
