Looks like being another nice warm and dry day out there, perfect for the time of year… 
We are visiting relatives in Retford today who we haven’t seen since before the pandemic so really looking forward to that, particularly as he’s the master of the barbecue …

Ady & Paula are taking us to a carvery lunch this afternoon which I’m looking forward to.
I may also get a bit of stuff done in the garden. It’s been so neglected since I broke my elbow.

Nice Autumn day with temps in the mid 20s, went for my walk early because I was expecting visitors in the form of my youngest son and his GF.
THey arrived about 11am and after a chat we had a BBQ lunch of Lamb cutlets, sausages, onion, mushroom and hash browns (forgot to get tomatoes)
They are off visiting the Nan Tien Temple this arvo

As it is usually impossible to sit out in my own garden, thanks to the noisy tenants next door, I might just drive to the sea front and walk Holly about, later. Get some sea air…and maybe an ice cream and hot doughnut. Now doesn’t that sound inviting…?

I debated whether or not to go up to my sons and sit outside and decided I won’t, after a couple of bad days I have much to do around the house and might do a bit in the garden later.

After finishing my project, as a reward, I got a streaming service, Paramount+ to watch Star Trek and Avatar. I’ll be doing that today.
No Easter plans here. I don’t normally celebrate Easter. For a religious holiday, more people celebrate than I would have thought. In the past, some stores used to be closed, but that doesn’t seem to be the case this year.
Hoping to have a fun time watching my favorite shows today.

Good morning all - a lovely bright, sunny day here.
I really love this time of year, when garden plants are starting to burst into leaf and there’s so much hope and cheerfulness around me.
I have always enjoyed spending the whole Easter weekend at home, just pottering and catching up with jobs in the house and garden.
Yesterday, I power-washed the stone patio and paths and the stone flags are now back to their original gorgeous colours - today I plan to clean the driveway and front garden paths.
I have a bit more plant potting up to do today, feeding some of my shrubs and established pots, and plenty of tidying and weeding in the flowerbeds - the only thing I know for sure is that the day will end before I finish everything there is to do, so there’ll be plenty left to do tomorrow!
