Good morning, Christmas Eve, Friday 24 December

Good morning all.

Good morning Jan and all to follow…

A mild and calm night just gone but heavy rain forecast for later and into tomorrow they say, ok just as long as it isn’t snow… :sunglasses:

Nothing much on my agenda, just a couple of neighbours to visit with small gifts then just feet up and watch the world go by waiting for Santa…

Have a pleasant day everyone

Good morning everyone :slightly_smiling_face: dark and damp again.
Not a lot planned for today , I want to make another lot of pickled cabbage the children get through a jar in one sitting and I will make some soup…

Enjoy your day…

Good morning everybody! Mild this morning, but dry…yesterday it poured all day.

Going to the shops early to get some last bits of food - if there’s any left!

Have a lovely day

Hi

Good Morning All.

Quite a nice morning here, the moon is very clear.

A home visit today from my PTSD Nurse and then cleaning the oven and making sure I do not go into hospital again at Christmas.

This time last year I was having a heart operation in stoke.

Have a good day all and stay safe.

Morning all

I’m at work but nothing doing so I wish boss would suggest I go . Finish at 11 am though. 1 last min gift to buy then dads before heading off home to put feet up for an hour.

I’ll be glad when these chocolates in the office have all gone, I keep nicking one which has turned into half a dozen this morning!

Happy Christmas Eve all

So, good morning everyone.

Dog walk and breakfast done, so I have a little free time now.

Some various little jobs to do today. Tidying up, applying Holly’s flea treatment. Need to wrap up the gifts for sister for tomorrow. The bags for her children, with sweets and biscuits, are in the car boot (hidden) already.

Forgot a card for next door but one neighbours on one side, so dropped that in this morning.

I hope you can all stay well and enjoy the next few days, whatever you plan. Up until I go to sis tomorrow for the Christmas meal (staying just a couple of hours) it will be business as usual for me, to include the dog walks, play with dog, fuss and cuddle dog.:grin:

Ooh, best get the toys for the dog opposite sorted out too, and write a card (yes, because Holly too got one from the pet.)

Morning all. Damp up here.

Need to hang the Xmas cards (we always leave it this late, dunno why). Out with MIL for a light lunch. Then off to some friends who, being musicians, have performed some Christmas Music from their driveway for the last couple of years for their neighbours’ enjoyment. Our friends are moving in January, do this will be their last public performance that will be close enough for us to realistically visit.

I re-ordered one of my prescription meds on Tuesday afternoon and I intended to pick them up from the pharmacy next week on Tuesday or Wednesday. Imagine my surprise when there was a knock on our door this morning and the pharmacy’s driver was standing there with a package in his hand. He’d delivered them to me to save me a trip to the pharmacy. I thought that service was only for the house-bound :man_shrugging:

Hi

A magical day, the best Christmas Eve for years.

Brother is coming to see me for an hour tomorrow morning, a long trip from up North.

Wendy has been, with her daughter and left her here when she went bargain hunting.

Cooker cleaned, kitchen done, both upstairs TVs linked in with Amazon and Chromecast.

I am now on Zoom, a surprise for my sister tomorrow.

We then had an hour watching Diane Morgan , mother and daughter arm in arm laughing.

Lovely.
