I was supposed to be in the Lakes with all my family but unfortunately both me and hubby are home alone poorly with Covid… I got it from my sister who has had to cancel her Christmas in Portugal…roll on 2022 which I hope will be better for all of us xx

Sorry to hear that Julia but you are not alone! We have had to cancel too because of our son having contracted the dreaded C19 and has to isolate. Look on the bright side though, there is always a tin of beans in the cupboard and a box of chocolates in the sideboard, so we won’t starve at least… :smile:

Good morning everyone dark and damp again here.

I am juggling face time and phone calls longing to be left in peace as the family check I am not lonely on my own …chance would be a fine thing.

Christmas eve night was awful, we had a few hours of torrential rain in which I had to take Chloe out for her last walk . The electricity went off so it was cold and dark all but for my torch .
We both got soaked through and only had towels to get dry but not warm. Thank goodness the power is on again today.

I am off out with Chloe into the drizzle once more before I have to endure more face time .

Happy Christmas day to all.
I gave Son a bumper pack of socks for diabetics, it was what he wanted, but he started moaning at me on opening them because…some of them had pink heels & toes, well, actually it turned out only one pair. Daughter thought it very funny. I have the offending pair for myself now. :grinning:

Someone at my daughter’s workplace bought her a bath bomb for her secret Santa, which is entertaining since we took the bath out ages ago and have a wet room instead.
