Chilly and damp around the edges here at the morning.
Will spend the morning with May’s month end accounts and filing, This afternoon I will start on July/August birthday cards, and think about a design for a special card for friend’s who will be celebrating their diamond wedding in August.

Tipping down with rain here and a very chilly north easterly, so pretty poor for all the planned celebrations which is such a shame after all of that hard work…
Nothing planned for me yet so I may do some baking and make a sweet potato dhal for lunch and perhaps catch a film this afternoon depending on the rain.

Yesterday was supposed to be wet, it wasn’t today is supposed to be the same so it’s out with Alf before it arrives , it’s still dry at the moment. Enjoy.

Huh! It still seems to be colder than I’d hoped for, and several times over the past couple of weeks I’ve put my heating on for an hour or so in the morning to get the place warmed up for the rest of the day
Perhaps I’m just getting soft in my old age
Nothing much planned, just pottering about with a hobby, or if I get the urge I might go to the Working Men’s Club and see if they’re having a bit of a do for the Jubilee celebrations

Apparently there’s a proper storm on the other side of town.
Very heavy rain here and an acute shortage of medical and nursing staff.

Been raining here half the night and set to continue most of the day. Looking ok atm but neither dog nor I are ready.
I too had the heating on for a couple of hours this morning, but now turned right down. Walking Holly has been a ‘mare, with the biting cold wind. She is not the speediest of dogs when out, more like sniffaris. I should get my monthly bill/statement by tomorrow from the energy company, so will see how this past month has been, with heating mostly off. If Rishi is giving us more handouts to help with the cost of living, then I shall bite his hand off.
I might sit at the computer today, doing my writing. We have our fortnightly meet this coming Tuesday and I need to prepare something to email over. Hoping to attend this time if the couple have their new home ready, not being far.

Been pouring down all night long here, and forecast for most of today we well.
I dont mind in the slightest because it will save my plants and refill the water butts.
There’s plenty of inside jobs to see to, so this rain will make me stay in and do them. 
Just going in the shower, then I feel a bacon & mush butty coming along.
I do love my Sundays.

Started raining here at around 5am but at least we didn’t get the forecasted thunder and lightening with it. Still drizzling now.
