Great excitement - I am going on a train! Off to Doncaster - huge Craft Show at the Racecourse - only looking, not buying (Ha de Ha) ! First year they have run it since the plague arrived. Have remembered to charge the camera and the mobile, and have packed a picnic lunch. There are coffee places and cafes there but the prices are extortionate - besides - picnics are more fun. It is a well organized event with something for everyone - card making, jewellery making, sewing, cake decorating, silk screen printing - you name it. Free shuttlie buses run every 10mins from the railway station to the racecourse. I am really looking forward to it.
It has been cold but sunny so far today but supposed to rain later.
My visitors went out this morning so I took their dog for a walk. Then worked on some of my Openscad learning, found a couple of errors in one of my projects - I like my projects to be scalable and changing a dimension can throw up errors in the maths which is handy.
One of my Grandkids is staying until Wednesday to give his mother and brother a rest, he is a bit of a terror. I will drive him home to Canberra on Wednesday.
We’re all going for a meal at the club tonight which will be good.
I was thinking about your hobby @SilverTabby when I realised that I was very arty and crafty today (that’s very relative). I knocked up some labels for my grandkid’s new luggage on my 3D printer so they each have their personalised name tag on it.
Actually I think they were more excited watching them print out than getting the new luggage for their spring holiday (they are going up to North Queensland to visit an aunt and cousin)
Good morning earlybirds, forecast hot here too so nothing planned after our early walk, although thinking about it there’s fruit to pick and that won’t wait, so I’ll try to get that done before it gets too steamy…
Have a great day at Doncaster Tabby, sounds right up your street…
I had a really busy week so I intend to spend the day in the garden …the builders won’t be back here till Tuesday so I have a free long weekend…bliss
Been out with Gert this morning then into a local garden shop and brought a new variety of Butterfly bush silver leaves, will capture the name when I go out again also a Lady Boothby fuchsia and a Chocolate Cosmos, they are now in buckets of water now awaiting the evening planting. Got a chicken in the oven and also popped to Sainsburys and also TKMax (brought flatter like crate mat/bed for Gert in the spare bedroom (which is the only carpeted bedroom)
Have a good day all kindle reading car cleaning and chilling in order here have a great day

I have become very good at living out of suitcases over the past years, and would like to share some of my favorite and simple packing tips that can maximize space and order, while minimizing wrinkles:
Roll your clothes: has the benefit of creasing the clothes less, and somehow seems like they take up less space.
Keep plenty of zip-lock bags: the large-sized, heavy duty, transparent kind that are easy to find in the US, less easy to find in Europe. Great for organizing content and stopping any leaks.
A sheet of Bounce keeps the clothes cling free and always smelling fresh; another product that is easy to find in the US, less easy to find in Europe.
My favourite bag and luggage brand, hands down, is Longchamps. The bags themselves weigh very little, they last forever, and I think look nice too! Given their durability, I think the value for the money is good.
I also make it a rule to unpack right away once I am on board. One of the great joys of exploring the world by ship is that you unpack only once, and the rest of the time you are left to enjoy the destinations to which you are traveling! unquote"

what is an Executive Vice President ?
Oh well at least I managed to send our photos via the internet for the boarding pass. If someone doesn’t know how to do it could cause a few problems. Sue asked me as she didn’t know either
