O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!” It’s a public holiday, it’s Australia Day. So get your Aussie flag, wear it as a cloak and celebrate!

Humph, still waiting for my bin to be collected, they are quicker when bin day falls on Christmas Day.

Tried new washing machine out this morning after carefully reading the manual, it even played a tune when it had finished. Currently the machine is just enhancing my laundry with its beauty.

With any luck the washing will be dry before the southerly buster arrives just after midday to cool the place down, it is 35° as I type.

Anyway have a good one, keep warm or cool depending on your climate.

What are you up to for Australia Day (or Invasion Day)?

Weather in Oz sounds brilliant, but it’s not too bad here today, quite blustery and a mild 7 degrees C with clear blue skies. Feeling very refreshed after my early walk/jog and later I’m going to start the year off trig point hunting, with a couple of local ones to bag, that’s if I can find them…

Hi Bruce. Happy holiday! Here is a bit cool at 7C. We have a short trip to the convenience store - we get our groceries delivered to our door but a couple of items were missing so off we trot.
