Gardening keeps me grounded, quite literally!
There’s something magical about watching tiny seeds turn into flowers or veggies. Of course, the weeds seem to grow faster than anything else, but I suppose that’s part of the fun.
Does anyone else find themselves talking to their plants? I swear mine listen better than people sometimes!
I agree gardening can be magical – all that tending, nurturing and the end result is a flower or something edible. I don’t talk to my plants outdoors but I am guilty of doing so to my few indoor plants. I don’t want to appear too bonkers ya know.
You’re right, gardening really is magical. All that tending and nurturing, and then the reward of flowers or something edible, it never gets old. I don’t talk to my outdoor plants either, but I’m guilty of chatting with my indoor ones. Hopefully they appreciate the encouragement… and hopefully I don’t sound too bonkers.
Haha, I can just imagine the chorus! If my plants ever did shout back, I’d probably need earplugs in the greenhouse. Still, I suppose a noisy garden would be better than a silent one at least you’d know they were thriving!
That’s lovely, Eliza gardening really is such a joy, whether we chat to our plants or not. I think the magic is in the tending and watching them reward us with blooms or something edible. It’s the simple pleasures that make it so special.
