Gardening - anyone else find themselves talking to their plants?

Gardening keeps me grounded, quite literally! :seedling:
There’s something magical about watching tiny seeds turn into flowers or veggies. Of course, the weeds seem to grow faster than anything else, but I suppose that’s part of the fun.

Does anyone else find themselves talking to their plants? I swear mine listen better than people sometimes! :joy:

I agree gardening can be magical – all that tending, nurturing and the end result is a flower or something edible. I don’t talk to my plants outdoors but I am guilty of doing so to my few indoor plants. I don’t want to appear too bonkers ya know.

You’re right, gardening really is magical. :seedling: All that tending and nurturing, and then the reward of flowers or something edible, it never gets old. I don’t talk to my outdoor plants either, but I’m guilty of chatting with my indoor ones. Hopefully they appreciate the encouragement… and hopefully I don’t sound too bonkers.

:joy: Haha, I can just imagine the chorus! If my plants ever did shout back, I’d probably need earplugs in the greenhouse. Still, I suppose a noisy garden would be better than a silent one  at least you’d know they were thriving!

Haha

That’s lovely, Eliza :herb: gardening really is such a joy, whether we chat to our plants or not. I think the magic is in the tending and watching them reward us with blooms or something edible. It’s the simple pleasures that make it so special.
