I enjoy planting things that bees and other insects can use. I planted wildflower seeds, but they haven’t quite come through yet. This thread is giving me so many ideas!

pix wild flowers in my opinion are the hardest things to grow, and yet they do it all by themselves

If you grow flowers like cosmos that are single flowers and tubular flowers the bees will like them.

Took a couple more pics of my lovely Iris’s today:

And my gorgeous garden Pinks. I love these:

A beautiful display Mups, they have grown well in the Spring sunshine. :slightly_smiling_face:

Not many flowers in my garden, mostly weeds…or rather, wild flowering plants…

Thank you Mags.
I am really pleased with them this year.
I’ve just sent off for another one, but they don’t dispatch till September.
It is called ‘Bob’s Pride’, and here’s a picture of it.
Hope it’s as lovely as on their website!

Was watching the Iris class at Chelsea yesterday on TV what beautiful varieties there are .

My first Cosmos is out which i grew from seed , and also a White Aquiliga grown from seed I found in my Husbands seed Pkt collection . He bought a Gardeners mag and there was always a free Pkt of seeds.

Eliza that’s great, I’ve just starting to plant my cosmos out, they are trying to flower but I keep pinching them out because I don’t want flowers until they’re in the ground.
