Hi everyone,
I thought I’d share a little life update and a few photos, with my partner’s blessing. Some of you might remember me from a while back, I used to be quite active here. Life, as it often does, took a beautiful and unexpected turn.
Through this very forum, I connected with someone truly special. What started as casual chats turned into deeper conversations, shared laughs, and before long… a real connection. Over time, our bond grew stronger, and eventually, he made the big trip across the world to visit me here in South Africa.
We spent time together soaking in local sights, sunsets, and more than a few cups of coffee. From bakkie rides to braais, he embraced it all like a proper honorary Saffa. Well… except for the biltong. He absolutely hates biltong - but I suppose every love story needs a bit of drama. 
And of course, he prefers the sunshine to the rain, so we’re now working on getting him to join me here for good. Because, let’s face it… our rugby is better than his. (Evidence? You’ll spot him proudly wearing a Springbok shirt at an international match in one of the pics, I’m clearly working my magic. 
)
I’m sharing a few snapshots from his visit (with his kind permission), just little moments that meant a lot. We’re keeping names and usernames private, but I wanted to honour the place where it all started- right here.
Oh, and to those who sent kind messages asking where I’ve disappeared to: thank you! I haven’t been abducted by aliens or gone off-grid… just a bit wrapped up in life, love, and one wonderful Brit who crossed oceans (and dodged biltong) to be here.
