Former England Test Batsman Graham Thorpe has died

He was only 55 years old.
Mr Thorpe played 100 Tests for England between 1993 and 2005.
Regarded as a stylish left-handed batter, he scored 6,744 test runs for England across his 12-year first class career.

I don’t know, seems there are so many people passing away way before the life expectancy average.

I was sorry to read this Bretrick - a very fine batsman indeed.

RIP Graham Thorpe.

It has been revealed by his wife that Graham Thorpe ended his own life.
So sad when people see no hope. Being in that state of mind, endless sleep stops the torment.
I was in that state of mind for many years. Prolonged therapy allowed me to see a way out of the constant malaise.

My wife and I were waiting for our train home from Winchester last Sunday, when there was an announcement that all trains were cancelled because someone had been in collision with a train. It was only yesterday, that we found out it was Graham Thorpe who was involved. A real shock and surprise that it was him. You never can tell how some people have severe mental issues.
