Strangely, the price of diesel here is far more expensive than petrol, when it used to be cheaper. Something to do with less processing than with petrol I believe.
The road tax is astronomical on diesel vehicles over 1500cc.
And now they have invented Add Blue, something else to make diesels more expensive to run and put it down to making a cleaner environment.
And apparently, after 2030 you will no longer be able to buy a new diesel or petrol engined vehicle. Including hybrids…I bet you thought that you would be safe all you hybrid drivers…

It is the same here, 30c or 40c a litre more than petrol, we are told it is you bloody Europeans, your war and your cold winter causing it.
