First of the tomatoes picked, they are so tasty fresh.
I have various types, so today picked two types of red and one each of smaller purple and yellow tomatoes.

I don’t grow tomatoes these day but do a swap for beans with my neighbour who does…
Such a treat aren’t they Swimmy, I’m growing two varieties this year, Tomatoberry (a sweet cherry tomato) and Ailisa Craig as a maincrop. We’ve been eating the Tomatoberry for two or three weeks now but still waiting for the others, although they are just starting to show a little colour now.
Yes, Donkeylady picked a couple yesterday too Swimmy,
But only cherry tomatoes so don’t really count do they ??

My Moneymakers are still green, but we have been harvesting the cherry tomatoes for a while now.

Grown in a polytunnel, they have done well to survive my frequent absences this year.
I do not know the varieties, I get them as plants from a small family nursery out in the wilds.
She does 18 varieties and I get the ones with missing labels for a £1 each.
