I thought some of you might be interested in how Australia votes in the Federal/Commonwealth election. Elections occur every three years, voting is compulsory (it’s a civic duty).
There are two elected houses The lower house - The House of Representatives - all members are elected each time - the number is fixed at twice the Senate.
The upper house - the Senate - where half the members are elected each time (except in a double dissolution election), they have a six year term. and are elected by the state

Remember this is a postal vote normally you would just get the green part, no ID required if you show up in person…
Now the Senate - I couldn’t scan this, had to take a photo ( I have included a 30cm/12" ruler for scale)
This is the same paper for everybody in NSW. You number at least 6 boxes above the line or at least 12 below the line.
