Fast shutter speed

Ok I decided to see how good this G9 camera actually is. so set a task of seeing if I could actually photography a small flying insect in mid air.

camera settings Aperture f2.8 - shutter speed 1/25000" - focal length 12.0mm

wow hat is not even the fastest shutter speed , compared with the Nikon D810 with a max of 1/8000" make it look like prehistory
