I agree with that, fortunately my boutique sells above the knee demin shorts
That is a good price, £10.94 GBP – far less expensive than anything I’ve seen here. Did find these on the link below, plenty of ordinary shorts but not Stonewash Denim Shorts. Anyway it’s winter here (max. temp. 12ºC / min. temp. 6ºC today) so probably not quite as essential at the moment!
Made in China or India (like most of our clothes)
I wasn’t sure what’s meant by jeans: blue jeans or also coloured jeans?
As for blue jeans, as I wrote elsewhere, as a teen I could have killed someone for a pair of Levi’s because they were unavailable for me. When they were, I wore them daily come rain or shine no matter how uncomfortable they’d be in warm weather but beauty knows no pain.
Then I discovered coloured denims for winter and summer and have been wearing them ever since. I still have one pair of blue jeans but haven’t worn them for a couple of years because I fell in love with “megaflex” denims by Pioneer which I’ve been wearing.
Thinking about it I’ve hardly ever worn anything else than coloured jeans because I never needed to wear a suit and if there’s one thing that doesn’t suit me at all, it’s chinos, slacks, dress pants whatever you may call them. So I don’t like them.
I live in stretch black jeans.
It’s true I could never imagine my mum in jeans even less my Nan .
Glad we don’t have to wear Jeans like we used to, going “Ball Room” dancing would not have been an option back then. Now you just need “Room”.
I have so many blue jeans but the pandemic has made some on them akin to wearing a corset now !
Lockdown must have some effect on the cloth
Shorts?? I like wearing shorts around the house and I make mine from jeans that have become too ‘fashionable’ around the knees. I cut the legs shorter and hem them with the sewing machine …waste not want not
Yes and that’s something I do object to but what choice do we have – hardly any choice at all!
what happened to ladies in frocks
They’re still around.
I’m always in jeans or a frock for glamming up in … never a skirt.
And either jeans or a frock … have to be worn with nice sandals or knee high boots… and carried off with an audacious elegant slinky strut.
shame about the face
