Foxy, Thank You for all those pink :two_hearts:! I think l have just drowned in them!
I was a bit naughty putting that on because it has nothing to do with the current royalty!
Maybe, Princess Anne once wore a dress like that whilst riding her horseā€¦ side-saddle!!
Iā€™m sure I read that ā€˜wrap-overā€™ dresses were coming back into fashion?

Worzel Gummidge

Youā€™re worth it, and you are like royalty to me Artyā€¦

Iā€™ve happily spent my life in Levis.

But, sad to say, I can be a bit of a Charles at times too ā€¦ prince of wales check, double breasted, oxblood brogues, cherry red dms, woops, that kind of thing.

Solovair
Not cheap although highly recommended if you want some serious quality oxblood/ cherry red footwear.
Donā€™t get me started on Leviā€™s.

Iā€™m a huge DMā€™s fan, cherry red especiallyā€¦I lived in mine until they actually wore down. Now I just wear leather boots, walking trainers, or boho sandals in summer, since the last DMā€™s I bought were far too clumpy (what on earth went wrong in their design?!) Iā€™ll check up on Solovairā€¦never heard of them before.

Canā€™t say I look to the royals for any fashion inspiration though. Or anyone for that matterā€¦ I kind of make it up as I go along :joy:

Iā€™m a big DMā€™s fan too, part of growing up, youth culture/ subculture, brings back memories.
Sadly the quality of so called Martens is appalling, made in the far east Dr Martens in name only.

Those are real boots, handsome but costly, Iā€™ll be sticking with much cheaper options

Just looking at those makes my eyes waterā€¦

Quite, Iā€™ve done my time, youth culture wouldnā€™t suit me anymore anyway :slightly_smiling_face:
Iā€™ll be sticking to something cheaper from Decathlon

Gorgeous or what?
Boots that you can actually break in and polish.
An old friend of mine had a brother who was a skinhead during the late 60s.
His brother used to bull up his oxbloods and introduce a little black polish into the creases and work it in with a brush. The result was a kind of burnished effect, think of a fresh conker, it actually works, Iā€™ve tried!
