Well done, Mollie, a pat on the back to you!
That’s odd. I posted last but it’s showing Mags as last poster. Happen we posted together and Mags was a second or two after me.
Edit: Ignore me. I’m seeing things!
Snap!!!
He he, that happens to me sometimes
Well done Mollie, maybe five out today was a bit ambitious of your dentist? At least you have only got one side to heal at a time.
Just come in from the garden for a cool off, it was too hot even for me and that’s saying something!
Now that the anaesthetic is wearing off I’m feeling bit of discomfort, but I’m sure that will pass.
Awwww so brave Mollie … hope feeling better soon .
some flowers just for you … i picked them my self
Good, you’ve done the hardest going for the first time, before you know it you’ll be laughing like the dogs on the false teeth advert.
Pleased you went Mollie, it will get easier from now on
I think I know the one you mean.
Thanks again, Marian. I didn’t really know what to expect, but I didn’t expect the crunching as they came out. Horrible!
Am feeling a bit sorry for meself at the moment because I’m in discomfort, but I refuse to take a pain killer unless it is absolutely necessary.
Well done Mollie, thats another big step you’ve taken today. Hope the discomfort eases soon.
Oh, hiya lass. Actually, it has started to ease now, so mayhap I won’t be needing the pain killers after all.
Yippee!
This is the look I’m trying to achieve.
Hope you achieve it Mollie, well the teeth at least!
Well done Mollie. The next bit will be easier. At least you know what to expect now
Yes Lynne, that’s what I was thinking. Now I’ve got over the first step, I’ll know exactly what to expect next time and there won’t be any fear then.
Talking of the next bit…when is that Mollie?
I think I mentioned several posts back lass, but it’s 18 June. I have asked if there are any cancellations before then to let me know as I just want to get this over with now.
Yes you probably did Mollie but at the moment my memory is like a sieve I hope you can get in earlier as well as now you’ve started the ball rolling you’ll want it over and done with asap so you can have your back !!
I told him I’d go back again next week if I could, but he’s a very busy (and popular) dentist so 18 June was the earliest so, fingers crossed for cancellations.
I had a back tooth extraction on Thursday. It was uncomfortable but not really painful. There was some bleeding so the dentist had to stitch the gum. I was given some painkillers and some antibiotic tablets. The gum was a little uncomfortable and there was some swelling. I took both the antibiotic tablets as instructed and also took some painkillers as a preventative measure. Now, Saturday morning, the gum feels okay. I have to go back in five days to have the stitches taken out and continue with my gum treatment, clean-up. Best of luck Mollie.
So glad you managed to overcome your fears Mollie and that you didn’t find it too bad.
Onwards and upwards now
