Wow what glorious weather for mid November in the UK. I have been out in the garden all morning and it is currently 16.2c out there. Patio doors wide open, no heat on and it’s 23c inside. sun is just pouring in.
Just wore trousers and T shirt and it is glorious. Cleared out the large window boxes and put more bulbs in. Geraniums still flowering and didn’t have the heart to dispose of them. petunias still flowering in tubs in garden. Sorted out my little herb garden and trimmed back the mint but the parsley is still looking great.
just lovely to feel the warmth of the sun on your back.
Been lovely here too. Sadly I have wasted it by stopping indoors on my writing. Did hang some washing out though. Our forecast was for rain so I didn’t bother doing the allotment.
Hummph! I am going to Canberra for a couple of days tomorrow returning Friday, The maximum temp on Wednesday is 3 -15 degrees - that’s a mid winter temperature
It is summer in a couple of weeks yet it is still winter temperatures. By this time of the year temperatures should have switched and the inland becomes warmer than the coast. What on earth is going on?
