F1 - Russian GP : Sochi

Well the F1 engines are all the same capacity and, in 2021, F1 teams have introduced a budget cap. I don’t know if 600cc bikes have that.

The engines are all the same triumph 600cc

who do you think would have won between Schumacher and Hamilton in the same car I really like Schumacher and personally think he’s the goat

Senior or Junior?

Michael senior as junior has big boots to fill

I don’t know. Tough call to make with the new rules.

Put Alonso in that Mercedes and even he’d have a go at it.

Lando Norris is the 5th youngest Pole sitter in F1 history!

Some one needs to ride shotgun for Norris and nudge Hamilton off for a chance of a win imo, Max is too far back to help out.

Daniel Riccardo may help .Not that I’d advocate such a thing.

I was thinking exactly the same!
Team orders perhaps

Don’t rule out Alonso. That guy can drive!

I think Bottas is the one Hamilton has to watch out for. He is assured of a new drive next year and after all this time being No2, I’m sure he feels now team orders can go in one ear and straight out of the other. He is also a very canny driver and skilled with it!

He’s always had good races in Sochi. So perhaps you’re right but I don’t know if he’s got the pace else he would have been sitting on pole

Yes true, but I wouldn’t put it past Toto to ever so slightly de-tune his engine for qualifying in the hope Hamilton would end up on pole.

@Caveman2 , Looks like l’m late to the party,:grin:
Caveman, you say moto2 and Moto 3 both use the same engines ??
Do l understand you right ?
To my knowledge there is a difference of 400cc between the two , and whilst
Moto2 do use the 3 cylinder Triumph engine format, each team is free to
develop that engine in terms of tuning however they like?
So budget still comes into the equation !!
However in my mind their is no doubt the bikes are far more exciting than the
cars, and moto2 is slightly more exciting than moto3 ?
I have taken a liking to World Super Bike now and find that although they use
standard road bikes ,as the base, the racing is incredibly close!!
And the speeds achieved are comparable to the Moto’s !!
Enjoy the WSB race today, it starts at 10am today in Jerez in Spain !!
Donkeyman! :+1::grin::grin::+1:
