As energy prices fall, there’s a call for the windfall tax to be reduced or eliminated. Energy companies were given tax relief when they were required to reduce energy prices to the public. Now that energy prices are reducing for the energy companies this windfall tax should also be eliminated.

I’d guess that reducing the windfall tax in the UK will depend on what other countries do about their windfall tax:
