Poor Bob … Laurel gave him the boot and he spends the night on the floor of The Wool Pack, what will become of him ?
Poor Bob ? no sympathy for him at all, if he could be loyal to one woman I might have a little but it was only time before he cheated on Laurel IMO she’s just got rid of him before he did it to her too.
He has such a reputation I wouldn’t have touched him with a barge pole. And secondly, I don’t find him remotely attractive, and thirdly, he can be quite irritating.
Have never taken to him , I just sort of tolerated him with Viv .

Can’t understand that from previous post’s , he never cheated on Laurel not that I know of, it seems that she gave him the boot because her young daughter called him Dad what’s wrong with that ?

She doesn’t want Dotty growing up thinking Bob is her dad . How does that make Laurel in the wrong ?
Oh so that’s a good reason then to give him the boot when a child thinks of him as her father as is only natural for a young child, a very flimsy excuse by Laurel I must say and not deserved by Bob at all.
Bob’s been married six (?) times. Perhaps this is Karma.
Laurel never wanted him in the first place they had one liaison, and she was happy to go back to her life minus him, I think she was completely shocked when it all came out and he had to move in with her.
He may not have cheated on her but he cheated with her and had a series of cheats behind him going back decades. Once a cheat never trust that person again.
Laurel has a right to live with a man she truly loves she doesn’t have to make do with a man she doesn’t love.
I feel sorry for the children and Brenda, none of them caused any of this. But Bob was front and foremost the villain of this piece.
It seems from what I have seen on Emmerdale that Laurel did all the pushing
and dragged Bob into bed on many occasions when he was reluctant to do so…
Well as per usual on this site some ladies have ganged up on the men here, and as far as i’m concerned the subject is closed. 
She was vulnerable and grieving he should never have gone there in the first instance. Also she was single he was married, so an adulterer.

Yes daz was roaring drunk and didn’t even see him knocked him down and drove away.
I’ve always imagined his make up is to hide his freckles. Might be wrong of course but that colour does blend them into his cheeks.
