What a ridiculous story this is about Lawrence and Robert.
Lawrence is supposed to be a wealthy, mature business man and he is acting like a 10 year old having his first crush.
Fed up with Robert’s silly schemes too, and the way he seems “either way.”
These two have dominated the story too much recently IMO.
I’m enjoying it, loving the sisters dilemma over the betting slip, arrow almost becoming midwife on the moors. Victoria hanging onto any baby she get her hands on, odd one that when most people told they can’t have kids avoid babies for a while at least.
Rodney floored by Eric’s kindness, and Faith not sure what to make of it or who to go out with.
I think livs dilemma may be a very interesting thing to watch too as she has made noises about not being a sexual being if handled right that could be a huge ground breaking storyline. She’s a good actress too so should be able to carry it off.
Loved Friday’s episode we all suspected Cain and chastity had a bad childhood but faiths marriage was awful by looks of it. Loved how faith and the young faith looked so similar and both acted really feelingly in this episode.
But…and this is going to be a big but…why is it that when soaps have characters going back to early homes, these properties are always conveniently empty and accessible? With no signs of dust or cobwebs?
I actually thought on this occasion they did it really well the difference between now the dereliction and filth and then with the much cleaner bug threatening home was stark.
After watching the Christmas episodes I’m throwing in the towel again.
Gays … gays …gays… I’d got a cushion ready tonight to hide behind for when their magnetised lips twitched and headed for impact for a full on suction session. It’s like watching a plunger sucking on a blocked plughole.
It has, without a doubt, turned into a soap primarily for gays.
I often mute it, turn my head away, and look out of the corner of my eye occasionally, till I feel it’s safe to watch again properly, with the sound back on.
He had a one night fling with Laurel, but he didn’t want Brenda to know it was Laurel so he told her that he had a sex with someone else, Brenda was heartbroken about this, so she has decided to leave him.
I was quite celebrating the end of robron, perhaps it will be safe to post on other Emmerdale forums again.
I quite like the doctor but what he sees in blubbering Aaron I can’t work out.
The whites may have well as left before Christmas for all they added to the story.
What’s Jimmy up to ? Have I missed something ? The scene in the pub when he was listening to the dingles made me think he is up to something to do with the demolishing of their house.
Harriet is getting on my last nerve, what business is it of hers what moira is doing ? She’s not right for Cain and is pretty desperate hanging on like she is, and I hate saying things about people’s appearance but that hair ! For goodness sake do something with it !
We’ve also discovered something about our failed foster dog, she goes absolutely mad at the Emmerdale tune. Her last home must have been fans
Julie, I agree with you entirely about the vicar poking her nose in with Cain. I also said about a year ago about her dreadful hair.
I don’t much like young Debbie either, nor her curtains of dead straight hair just hanging round her face.
She never seems to have any change of expression, always so dead pan.
That lass will never have any laughter lines or wrinkless because her face never moves.
I have never seen her have a good belly laugh even.
I agree about Debbie, even Debbie in love seems a miserable creature, I’m not sure why any man is attracted most I know want a laugh along with anything else.
It’s odd though as Cain rarely laughs and I find him quite attractive  so perhaps misery really does attract people.
Lachlan was quite scary last night ! That young man plays that part rather too well for my liking !
I can’t wait till weather warms up and that awful fur coat leaves the show, I know Jimmy is supposed to be comic character these days but that’s a comedic device too far for me.
