Seems Ofcom might investigate these scenes, after some complaints. I thought it was a sick storyline!

Odd, I bet if it was a man and a woman or two women no one would complain.
Robert is hellbent on destroying Lawrence and taking over Home Farm whatever it takes.
There’s been more disturbing stuff on Emmerdale before.
Kids shouldn’t be getting drunk, grown ups bullying kids, setting fires, kidnapping, murdering spouses, trying to drown folk etc. etc…
They made sure the audience knew it was all " implied" and nothing really happened, it could have been a drunken woman being duped in another storyline.
Perhaps all the soaps should be after the watershed, they’re all doing similar things.
Not sure what the complaints actually were, that were made to Ofcom.
At least Robert can’t pretend to be pregnant…

Yes they try and scare her into thinking that James is still around.
Ok I’m just catching up has something happened to laurels baby ? It’s been missing for a few episodes and she’s hanging around Nicola and Jimmy with no baby in sight. And intimating she has an empty house when she has two kids at home.
I get she misses Ashley but surely her baby and son are still around and need her ?
I often wonder where all the kids are, Vanessa and Prya and Megan seem to get into the pub a lot without them, Noah has vanished and Charity’s baby too!
Why do they write kids in if they’re just going to vanish. It doesn’t set a good example to young parents.

I wonder if it is because kids are only allowed to work a certain amount of hours, could it be?
