I do hope that Ashley remembers it Emma being on the Bridge. You would have thought though, that the Police would have done fingerprints of Jame’s clothing. I hope they locked her up and her Sons don’t talk to her any more.
They may notice his previous injuries in a post mortem and wonder why he had them and check for drugs, she was giving him morphine regularly. 
But they have buried him already.

The funeral must have been some time after he died as the others had recovered.
As I posted elsewhere on social media, that may not be his actual funeral, but one filmed just to show us who died! Don’t forget, soap writers have poetic licence and write/film whatever they like! Who can forget Patrick Duffy emerging from a shower and finding years of Dallas was a dream? And though I didn’t watch the new Crossroads, I understand at the end they had a character sitting on a supermarket checkout, where all that had happened had been part of her daydreaming.
So, saying that, what are we expected to believe? Not a lot, is my own answer. (Still enjoying it, though.)
About Aaron though, I sat the bit when Robert slipped the ring on his finger at the hospital, but then Aaron’s head flopped over and it looked like he’d died as well?

Now the Police said they are releasing the body of James, so that she can now start the funeral arrangements.
