Glad I’m not the only one who’s finding it rubbish right now.
They’ve got some right duff storylines.
- Belle and the doctor.
- David and Tracy
- Druggy Holly and screeching Moira.
I switched it off last night. The acting is awful.
David and Tracey are intriguing me, she has really changed character since she joined and I have to say I quite like her now. David is doing well with his portrayal of chemo etc he just needs to stop mentioning it so often, IME most people don’t keep on about it like that they try to be as normal as possible.
I agree Morticia. The Belle and the Doctor storyline is completely ridiculous. As if any professional doctor is going to give up his good life, his beautiful wife etc for a 17 year old girl with mental health problems and a “gypsy” type family. I’ve reached the point where I just watch dribs and drabs of the soaps now, they have all got completely unrealistic. Farmers and mechanics in spotlessly clean clothes, girls with no money but always new clothes and can fly off to anywhere they like at a minute’s notice, there must be some free airlines somewhere, wish I knew where ! Plus of course the three major soaps all appear to have the same story lines. Whoever the actress is that plays Holly really should be looking for a different career.
I’m afraid we were a bit wicked re Moira and her sun tan, obviously she has been to visit her mum (who we know), she certainly didn’t get that tan in Emmerdale 
I’m not so sure about the tan I’m still peeling from the two times I forgot and sat in the sun too long over the past few weeks, anyone who tans easily could have one by now I think.
No one seems to be working on that farm now! What happened to the factory they started? I know it supplies the pub but, how?
Where are Cathy and Heathcliffe? Perhaps they’ll pop up in the school hols at a play session in the village hall…

I know they can’t use kids as often as adults but that’s a bit of a long time between filmings !
They just stick them in a cupboard somewhere and dust them off now and then.
I have enough trouble keeping track of all the kids and who belongs to who as it is.
Well recently they have been shepherded around the village by Jimmy, I keep forgetting which ones belong to him and which he is just looking after.
Chrissie made a mess of that although who has that sort of conversation in middle of busy pub ?
On Wuthering Heights, maybe.
Belle is getting on my nerves, with her pretend pregnancy and the Ghost of a friend in Prison, back to Belle’s mental health problems, I think.
I agree Susie. And I often wonder about her accent…which is nothing like that of her parents!
And how long is Chas out for? Don’t tell me she’s on maternity leave!
This Belle and the doctor story line is the most unbelievable yet. Whoever thought that one up should be sacked.
I wouldn’t mind if he was worth giving up your life for! That’s why I agree it is totally unbelievable.
It seem strange to me, Moira fell on the needle at Simon’s House, but straight away she’s not feeling well. Would it work on her that quick?
It’s the medication they gave her at the doctor’s to stop her developing hepatitis I think.
Yes, she explained that to Holly this evening, it was the meds. But she said it was to prevent HIV. Or did I imagine that??
