I missed a few episodes, so can anyone tell me who that girl is that is calling Bernice ‘Mum’? Is it supposed to be Gabby MKIII?
That reminds me, do you remember a few weeks back we were talking about the strange appearance of a Gabby MKII, the one who was about 1ft taller and 10 years older than the first one, well where she she disappear to? Is this a 3rd one now?
I thought it was the same one! Paddy and Kirin are in the s*** now for sure!
Also, isn’t it strange how non-smokers in soaps always have a lighter (usually a Zippo which no non-smoker would own or fill with gas etc…) in their pocket when it comes to burning a car etc…?
Well spotted!
Kirin can’t act. Hope he disappears from the village.
I do know what happens next week but have to confess didn’t see THAT one coming!!!
I thought Cain saw a group of men through the window of Gordon’s house, I thought if they were paedophiles perhaps he’s going to catch them out, he hasn’t done anything though.
Rhona’s gone nuts. Trying to control Paddy through guilt, I feel sorry for any child adopted into that situation .
Good job it’s fiction!
I’m sorry but watching Ashley on Monday evening lashing out and completely forgetting everything with his Dementhia, this doesn’t ring true for me, after suffering with my own Mother for years with Dementhia, it doesn’t happen just like that, it takes years to become like he did, the only explanation I can think of is, perhaps its because he is quite young that its happened so quickly.
Yes Ive worked many years with people who have had alzheimers and dementia advanced and just beginning and while his confusion seems to be right for the condition the lashing out doesnt ring true…its a very gradual condition in most people and over a long period of time going downhill
It wasn’t his dementia from what I understand, it was because he was supposed to have had a TIA.
If that’s the same as a mini stroke yes, Mups that’s what they said.
Trans ischemic attack symptoms (TIA)
Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body.
Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding.
Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes.
Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, lack of balance or coordination
Im guessing they have to make it more dramatic for telly viewing
That’s what they said happened, TIA.
My poor old Dad had a couple of those.
He had no such excuse when he was hitting his dad IMO he is just a bully and this is just bringing that out more in him.
I’m glad you ladies explained it and cleared it up.
I was a bit bemused at how rapidly his dementia seemed to have progressed.
I didn’t see it that way Julie. It’s a tricky storyline they’ve chosen and to me it seemed both Ashley and Laurel are walking on eggshells in trying to support each other… it was sad to watch. You have to feel for both of them.
Meanwhile … Charity doesn’t change does she?
I confess, I didn’t miss her.
Arriving back in the village in a stolen Ferrari. And Moira’s getting as bad. If anyone needs to lay their hands on a quick 10k they just steal it or blackmail someone.
That village must have the highest ratio of criminals in the whole of the UK.
Charity’s getting on my nerves a bit now, it’s too far fetched and getting a bit silly.
Lets hope that Hollie Barton’s arrival will not be the start of more drug addiction story lines…( give us a break please )
I often shout at the telly ‘why have you bothered bringing back past characters that were no good in the first place?’
So now we know, she’s in debt, hence stealing…oops, borrowing, the car!
Didn’t like her then, and don’t like her now.
I agree with you Jazzi. She always was a peculiar character and looks like nothing’s changed. Not keen on her at all.
Rhona needs to stay in Germany if she gets there!
Holly hasn’t had any acting lessons since she left, she sounds like a five year old reciting a nativity play part.
